GRC led 7-0 till late in the 3rd quarter. Dunbar scored again in the 4 and the extra point was blocked. GRC could not get anything going in the 4th on offense. Penalties on GRC in the 4th also really hurt their chances of pulling out the win. Congrats to Dunbar on now winning 2 in a row.

Tough loss for the Cards. Really thought they could win this one. Better luck next week against the Generals! :thumb:

Both teams made quite a few mistakes from the start. A very sloppy offensive game, but pretty sound defensively. Congrats to PLD for two consecutive victories. I know GRC will get back on track for a big game next week against Lafayette.

What happened to GRC? I've seen both these teams live and I though GRC looked much better than anything Dunbar had, disappointing for GRC-great win for Dunbar

Clark scored its lone touchdown of the contest when Darius Skinner crossed the goal line on a 3-yard run with 28 seconds remaining in the opening half. Skinner highlighted the drive with an impressive 29-yard completion to Corey Rogers on a third-down pass play.

 

 

The hosts blocked a punt on Clark’s second possession of the second half, resulting in a score by the Bulldogs. Trent Martin tied the score at 7-7 with 1:27 remaining in the third quarter with a 64-yard touchdown strike to Rose.

 

The Bulldogs (2-2) broke a 7-7 deadlock after a bad snap on fourth down sailed over Clark punter Taylor Moody’s head at the Cards’ own 7-yard line with 8:35 remaining. Three plays later, John Rose scored on a 3-yard run, giving the hosts a 13-7 advantage with 7:11 left.
