A Good Season?

Featured Replies

I was thinking today, what do you consider a good year for your team?

.500? A district title? Region Title? Semi Finals? State Finals?

A lot of small schools and non-traditional powers don't have the teams year in and year out like some schools that are judged by State apperances.

What constitutes a good year for your school in your opinion? What makes you feel warm and fuzzy when the season is over?

For Boyle County, speaking for myself...a good season for us would be to at least make it to the state semis to give us an opportunity to play for the state championship. I am sure most or some Boyle County fans will be satisfied with nothing less than a state championship or at least spot in the state championship game. I am not mad at that. I am very proud of our team and all of our accomplishments....past, present and future. And always will be.

Oh, and to beat Danville. That always makes it a good, no, make that a great season....:thumb::D

I hate to assign numbers, because sometimes it's just doing more then is expected. But, my personal barometer for Raceland is at least 8 wins and make it to the Regional Finals (Third round). If a Raceland team does that, I consider it a good season. But, going to the State Finals is always my goal, they will make it someday.

For Bowling Green, I think a good season would be for us to make it farther in the playoffs than we did last year. And to beat Warren Central. That's a good season.

For Fort Campbell expectations are high, Bowling Green or bust. :jump::D:banana::clap::dancingpa:lol:
