Time for the game that this season imo Ashland has been waiting on as well as Raceland, maybe more so. Tomcat radio man Dicky Martin called Raceland an "Arch Rival" when they came on air for this one. First time I have heard an Ashland radio man (or anyone really) call the Raceland/Ashland game a matchup of "Arch Rivals", I thought that through the years that label was reserved for Russell and Boyd Co. by Ashland. :idunno::lol:

 

On a side note, this is Ashland's JFL night at Putnam. I am glad to see h.s. programs recognize their JFL program. That means a lot to those little kids. I know that is does in Raceland to our JFL kids.

 

 

(Also, 97.1 has confirmed that Ashland's RB R. Carter is no longer on the Ashland Tomcat team)
