Montgomery County 2009/2010

What does Montgomery County need to do to improve in 2009/2010? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

Will the streak of 5 regional titles in a row come to an end this year? Many think it will, but I would be careful with that prediction. If the Lady Indians can find someone to handle the ball, I think they will be tough again this year. With 6'3" Mary Jelhik in the middle and Annie Garland I think they will be very competitive in the 10th.

I agree. They have the great tradition and good returning players. They are the favorite and the returning champ until someone knocks them off. That will not be easy.

Alot of people are counting Montgomery out, I dont think that will be the case. Montgomery will be lead by Garland and Jelhik they will have to rely on some young players such as Colliver(Freshman) bringing the ball up the court, until Hodgson(Senior) can return. Look for Taul(sophmore) and Spence(Freshman) to score big points to help out.

While not as clearly dominant as they have been in years past - I'd bet on the Lady Indians to be dancing down to Diddle again.

They have dominated that region so much over the last several years....hard to ever count them out.

Sorry I did forget Lockett! I seen her play this summer at the KBA here in Lexington as well she does have quickness and a good set of hands.
