July 17, 200917 yr Congrats on a great run! However IMHO........ The situation makes it a bad play. The reasons I would not shove is you have over 80BB, only 12 players left, you are second in chips, you have been checked raised by he chip leader on a paired board with a small flush. When Moon check raises the only hand you are beating is a bluff and Moon according to all reports has been hit with deck and has shown down good hand after good hand. If your wrong and he is not bluffing you are out. Moon said this after they played down to 27 "That’s just my style. I play tight. When I get them I bet and when I don’t, I fold." The nit chip leader c/r on a paired flushed board and he shipped it with 5 high flush when he was 2nd in chips and against the only player that could knock him out. He was actually like 5th or 6th at the time but your point is still valid. Im sure if he had it over again he would play it different but Im sure he did that quite a few times to get where he was and it worked out. I might not like it but I cant fault him for playing for the win and not to just make it to the final table. Kids got guts for sure.
