Looked like there was more than 1500 there, to me.

 

I think ticket prices could have been better. Prices were $15 and $20 a piece.

I think that the substitution pattern by the Ky coach was suspect at best.

 

When Bradley was out of the game Indiana made runs, eliminating about a 10 point deficit in the 1st half to take the lead 47 to 46 in the 2nd half.

 

I do not think Fothergill saw the floor in the 2nd half.

Indiana Girls have won 10 of the past 13 games.

 

Indiana Boys have won 10 of the past 11 games, and 19 of the past 22 games.

 

Indiana Boys have an 82-42 lead in the 70-year history of the game.

You are correct...as always DD...once the lead dwindled they smelled blood and attacked. When Bradley was back in the game she was the only ball handler and it was pretty tough to beat the double/triple teams with no outlet once she did break the pressure. She asked the coach to get another guard in the game to help and he said "you can handle it"...oh well, it was a wonderful experience and she competed against the absolute best in the country.

 

I was proud of how well she defended Faris. She was too quick for her on the perimeter and easily pushed her off the block when she tried to post up...this was the case in "both" games. Faris better hit the weight room hard if she wants to compete with the girls at UCONN.

You are so right how people see differently...especially listening over the internet...I've known the Faris' for several years. Kelly is always one of the smartest players on the floor, but I'm telling you she needs to hit the weightroom "very hard" because she will be competing against the best, quickest, toughest, and the strongest players in the nation.
