Another team that could be dangerous if they continue to improve is Jackson County. Their first year head coach has made a world of difference and they are improving every week.

Some schools in your area have middle school in the spring. I know Whitley County and Rockcastle do.

 

They are some of the only ones outside of Pulaski County that have them. For the life of me, I cannot figure out why they don't do this in Laurel County. More kids playing sports is a good thing for the schools and the kids period. And let's face it, ... volleyball is not an expensive sport to support.

I agree. This was supposed to be a down year according to many, but they have some excellent athletes in Gaines, Burchett, Johnson and others. And at the net, Burchett is extremely tough to get anything by. I am looking forward to seeing the SL vs NL matchup tonight at NL. North has a good team, but have not been consistent this season. I think SL wins tonight either 2-0 or 2-1. They faced each other in the McCreary tournament and South won 2-0.
