What does DuPont Manual need to do to improve in 2009/2010? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

They need to get a female coach and get rid of those MEN!!!!!! What do men know about coaching girl's basketball??? (inside joke!!!):deadhorse:

A year older, Manual might challenge for the state.

There are a few programs around the state that just reload, and Manual is definitely at or near the top of the list. However they are in a tough region that is always capable of having multiple teams experiencing highlight reel seasons, so it's hard to ever say that anyone from the region will be a "lock" to make the Sweet-16, let alone win it.

The 7th region is crazy, Manual, Mercy, Sacred Heart, Assumption, CAL are going to be strong year in and year out. Then the second-tier teams are at least respectable (Male, Ballard, Eastern, Fern Creek, etc)

 

This season will be a war as usual.

 

BTW, does anyone else think Manual should be in the 6th region? Aren't they the only 7th reg school west of I-65?

Yes a year older in some respects, but the loss of Avery Jones is a big one to overcome.....
