What does DuPont Manual need to do to improve in 2009/2010? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

Manual will have Nikolic in the middle. At 6'8 or so, he should be the tallest center in the 7th region. He's got decent skills for a big guy and he's improved. Sean Samsal (sp?) is an exceptional shooter with some improved point guard skill. Rumor earlier was that he was moving to Indiana. Andre Gray is the most under rated soph-to-be in the state. Mark my word on that. He's talented, plays hard, and makes things happen. IMO he was the 2nd best freshman in Louisville last year (Harrison was 1st). I'm not sure if Phil Bond Jr. graduates or not. He's a pretty steady guard.

They also have Miles Mitchell who will be a solid wing player.

 

I'm not sure they will be in top 3 in the seventh but they could be a force if Nikolic continues to improve.

Mitchell is a solid shooter. Its his defense that is the area for greatest improvement. Nikolic has improved and if he works hard should be a force at 6'10 considering he may be the only player in the region over 6'6 or 6'7.

 

Andre Gray is the sleeper here. He'll only be a soph, but will likely be a starter on the wing opposite senior Trae Jones this season because of how hard he plays D and gets after it.

 

Depth at the point is Manual's strong feature. Samsel has grown and is stronger and has now become a player that might be the most under-rated PG in the '10 class. Bruce Bell is a capable floor leader and could start if Samsel is moved to the 2 spot.
