PAPA PIGSKIN Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 Anderson's Jacob Brown is the best pitcher in the region. Probably the best player in the region. He outplayed both the region player of the year in Sterrett and UL signee Clarkson.

redsfan Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 Chris Hendrick and Ethan Stewart for Carroll County. Congratulations to both boys. Note to those Carroll County boys returning next year do your job great things happen. Ethan hit one ball past the dirt area , the other hits were bunts and an infield single and he hustled his tail off to make it happen. Great example what team means, Chris dominates the game for 5 innings while other players are doing what it takes to scratch runs across.:thumb:

You want to talk about how great Carroll County is instead of the 8th region CHAMPS, Anderson County? OK, lets talk about that great game they played against Shelby Co the other night(a team Anderson has beat 3 times this season). Start a 2010 Carroll County thread if thats what you want to talk about. Were talking about Anderson County's back to back regional championships in this one. Congrats Bearcats!!! :clap::notworthy:

Simply wanted to answer the question and give the players the credit they deserve. Anderson county has a great team and I hope they represent the 8th very well as I am sure they will. How careless of me to even mention Carroll County in the same post as Anderson.
