Coach Jones for CC has done a great job with his boys and they have had a great season. He is a great coach and should win the coach of the year for the 8th region. With that being said, CC has a shot at winning the region, but the only problem will be pitching for them. Since Anderson and Shelby haven't pitched their aces yet, they could be in the finals. That would be a great rematch for these two teams. Good luck to CC against Shelby co.

Congrats to the Panthers. I'm a big fan of Coach Jones. He can really motivate a team.

Carroll County would probably be considered the favorite to win the 8th region right? if not, Anderson County right?

Anderson would be the favorite, then Shelby, then flip a coin between Gallitan and Carrol.

Ethan Stewart also had an RBI for the Panthers and Zach Wise had 2 RBI's. Jesse Proctor and Ethan Stewart both had 2 runs scored for the Panthers. Good solid ball hitting and base running through the whole through line up - bottom to top! Way to go Panthers!!:ylsuper:

The Wise kid is gonna be one heck of a baseball player by the time he is a senior. We arrived during the last inning of CC's game and he can sure throw hard. Don't remember him pitching much in previous game. He will be fun to watch in the future.

Agree. Heard he and the Tipton kid from Shelby were invited to the sophomore showcase at UK during the Junior/Senior East-West All Star games. Does this event feature promising sophomores from our region or from across the state?

Hit 88 and 89 several times. With a jugs gun the best in the business!
