Congrats to Elite on a great tourney!! How did Monroe play, he was fun to watch the few times I saw him last year?

 

Mason had a very good weekend. Plays great in your face defense, shot the ball well and drove it strong against the bigs.

I wouldn't be surprised if McFarland doesn't end up at Lexington Catholic from what I have been hearing.

How does Ky Elite Match up with The Ville 14U? And what other 14U teams are there to keep an eye on?

I think both still have some room to grow. I know McGovney has some 6'4"-6'5" height in his family. Only time will tell.

How does Ky Elite Match up with The Ville 14U? And what other 14U teams are there to keep an eye on?

 

The Ville beat KY Elite in the state championship last month. The game was very close until the fourth quarter. The previous day, these two played and the Ville won by 3, I believe.

 

For both of these games, Elite was without PG Blake Sanders. I think that would have made a huge difference. He is a good floor general and can shoot the lights out (16 threes in 4 games this weekend in Bloomington).

They are a very solid group and won this weekend with only 7 players present.

Demling mentioned the accomplishments of the 14U KY Elite on his blog today. I think there are very good things in store for this group over the next few years.
