Conner will improve by having their true point guard Jacob Flesch back from injury. They will also need tog et Hodges stronger. He is 6'7" and can be extremely dangerous if he gets more physical. Avery and Stephens will need to be the nucleus of this team. They will have a great supporting cast with Robinson, Flesch, Hodges, & Liechty.

I think if the juniors to be, Flesch and Robinson, come back healthy the possiblities are endless. Robinson is a strong post player inside with a wide frame. He likes to get in there and mix it up and isnt afraid of being physical. Flesch brings quickness, incredible defense, and ability to score a bit.

It cant be just those two guys though. Obviously they would have to work in tandem with Hodges, and Avery. Hodges is a good player with the potential to be very good or even great. His 6'7" frame allows him to do things that some others cant. I personally feel like he needs to play the 3 or the 4. I dont know that the kid is a 5 (or, center). Let Robinson do the deed down low.

As for Avery, his game speaks for itself. The kid is a really nice player. I watched him a couple times for the KY Players and he can just play basketball. He knows the game, can get to the rim, and has a decent outside shot. He is exciting to watch.

Im not as familiar with Stephens... fill me in, please.

Connor should do fairly well in the 9th

Avery is tough. He came on strong at the end of last year and it looks like it is continuing into the summer. Conner will be looking to him to score and that is something he can do in bunches.

Stephens is a shooter. He can really knock it down if he is given time to set up. Last year he was forced into a ball handling position which didn't allow him to really get into the flow of shooting. With Flesch back this year, it should really open things up for Stephens.

Sounds like Connor will have another weapon in Stephens then. What would the projected lineup look like? I know Flesch, Avery, Hodges, Robinson.

Will those 4 start with Stephens at the 2 and push Avery to the 3?

Stephens will be a three year starter and more of the senior leadership. He and Avery will be the go to guys. I have to assume Flesch will be at the point. Robinson was the starter at the end of the season last year, but has missed the summer due to shoulder surgery. The start may go to Hodges early on with Liechty getting the nod. IMO, I would like to see Hodges and Robinson on the floor together working the hi-low, but we will have to see.

Conner should be very good next year with tons of talent like Stevens, Avery, Hodges, Robinson!

You are right. Conner should be very good next year. The potential is there. They will just need to utiize it.

Connor will be exciting to watch in the 9th next season.

Next season, I am excited to see Ryle, Holmes, Highlands and Scott from No. Ky.

I also really want to see Mason County, Clark County, Scott County, Warren Central, and Eastern.

Timmy Lang will be back.

Can someone who has a little knowledge about Connor basketball provide the site with a projected line-up for the Connor team next season. I know many things can happen, Im just curious.

Will the 3 juniors (Flesch, Hodges & Robinson) get the nod to start? What about liechty. The only sure starter I know is Avery.
