Vorbeck looks like a Junior or senior, His feel for the game is great for a Freshman. He has a bright future ahead of him!:sssh:

 

Travis Smith looks to be playing solid as well, and he's only a freshmen too.

I look for a split here. Clifford will be tough for the Colonels, but after that I'd take South. Should be a good series.

Does anyone know if Corbin and Whitley will play today? The suspense is killing me!:isurrender: If so how will they be played? Will Whitley still travel to Corbin and Corbin to Whitley tomorrow or will they be forced to play a double header? :confused:

Whitley hasn't shown anything to be the clear favorite, however freshmen Trace Vorbeck will probably start monday. I know in Florida he was clocked at 84 mph, and it probably the most acurate pitcher Corbin has.

 

 

Vorbeck started the conference semi-finals against Somerset last year. Even though Somerset won he pitched a very nice game for the Redhounds. He looks like he'll be a very nice pitcher as he develops.

Today is at Whitley Varsity and JV, and tomorrow is at Corbin Varsity and JV...Both Varsity games to start at 5:30.
