The leaders at my Church have asked me to start a morning Bible study time. It would be open to anyone but since its on a weekday morning Senior Citizens will be present more than any other age group.

 

My wife and I will make up Flyers to pass out. There are four different sections of patio homes a mile fron the Church, plus several thousand homes.

 

I'll be doing a lot of walking soon. It will be a laid back time where we will talk about anything on someone's mind, members of other churches will be invited to come. It will start around 9:30 and end when the last person wants to leave.

 

I'll just oversee the time not really be doing the talking...I hope.

 

We are located a half mile south of the Gene Synder 265 off Bardstown Road. PM are just ask if you might want more info for yourself or a friend/family member.

 

Finally, I hoping to have special guests/speakers/singers as this grows. So the offer is also there if someone would want to do something too.

Wish a) I lived closer and could attend; b) was retired and could attend.:thumb::lol:

 

On a serious note, if you could have someone do childcare, you probably could get a lot of stay at home moms to attend.

Depends on your target market. What audience are you wanting or expecting to be your audience? The title will need to relate to them and their lives.

Thats why its a hard thing to come up with. Tuesday Mornings, open to anyone that wants to come. I'll also visit neighborhood churches and invite them. We will have special speakers/FCA people who are use to Sharing/Ministers/anyone.

 

I'd think mostly retired folks. We hope to start up two weeks from the Tuesday after Easter. Maybe this summer you can come speak LadiesBallOverseer. We have a gym and a Ping Pong Table. :isurrender:

You could serve refreshments and call it "The Rock and Rolls."

There is a coffee maker in the room we are using, and I could stop and get some muffins. I'll wait and see how we do, Keep up the ideas, and if anyone would want to speak and share something we can work it out.

I'm to shy for public speaking. Not all that good at private speaking either. :idunno:

Me too. I still have this Alabama way of saying certain words or examples. But speaking about my LORD gets me thru. And people can see its from my heart.
