What's your opinion on Corbin's JV team this year? Their 4-0 overall and 3-0 in their conference.

OK! T.B.A, who in your mind stands out to you as an underclassmen in Southeast Kentucky?

IMO, Josh Coppack should be a good player. He is the only one that stands out to me.

When Coppock,Clouse,Farley,McDaniel, and Jackson are Sr's, they should have no problem getting to Applebees Park!

High expectations!!!!!

Does anyone know about any talent in the 13th and the 12th?:idunno:

Young talent you"ve got to look at NL they start Carson a 8th grader,Brooks and Storms both freshman Hayden Soph. and the rest are Jrs. They will be hard to handle by tournment time this year the way their hitting the ball now. Just need pitching to start comming around.

Somerset has several good freshman and sophmores on their roster. As middle schoolers they won their conference back to back in 2007-08. The went a combined 33-5 those two years. The conference included Somerset, Corbin, North & South Laurel, Whitley, Williamsburg, Southwestern, Pulaski, Clay County, Middlesboro, Cawood and Knox County among others.

Among their standouts that are:

Sophmores OFs JP Henderlight and David VanHook, 2B Taylor Sears, 3B Zack Bastin, 1B/OF Coby Hall, SS Erik Manning, P/INF Ben Purcell. Bastin, Henderlight and Hall also pictch.

Freshman C/3B Jarred Price, C/INF Storm Wilson, INF Alex Lange, 1B/P Taylor Speaks, INF/OF Curtis Pelston, INF/OF Andy Manning.

Several are already seeing signifigan varsity time on a young Jumper team. If they all continue to work and improve they could be a special group before they are done.

Middlesboro's Evan Womack should be well worth watching he's a sophmore and a solid all around player
