Brent Sweeney was outstanding on the mound and at the plate for the Tigers. He led off with a solo shot to center to start the game. Scheler and Brutscher delivered big hits. Uncharacteristic Bullitt errors opened up the margin of victory. Alphin of Bullitt did return the favor to Sweeney with a solo shot of his own in the 6th. Matt Spalding came in relief in the 6th and closed the game. Great win against a very talented opponent. This team may not be overrated after all.

I gotta admit that the Tigers were helped by the 5-6 errors on defense and the multiple walks issued by the BE pitchers. But a win is a win. Reminder that fish is being served at the game tonight at St X.
