Simon Kenton vs CovCath called due to rain

Featured Replies

Simon Kenton @ CovCath, called due to rain and wet field..

You just had to know that with it not raining for a couple of weeks, and with the start of the HS baseball season upon us, the rains would start. :isurrender:

No idea if this game will be made up and if it is, when it will be played....

With this upcoming weather teams might be done until next week sometime.

How many wins would have been represented between the two managers had this game been played? 1200+?

I assume you're speaking of coaching victories, and not including victories as a player.

Coach Krumps has 22 consecutive seasons of 20+ wins. Including 40 in 2002.

Didn't put it into a thread but I was impressed with some of the new Frosh playing for the CovCath JV team on Monday in their victory against Ryle. It was like watching a history lesson of past baseball games, with some of the young Frosh last names from both teams. Isler, Elliott, and Etscheid (10) for Ryle Stein, Maile, Severson, Reis and a cousin of Maile for CovCath.... Same last names, and they all looked like they will make their olders brother proud. It was indeed a fun day of baseball.... BTW CovCath won by a score of 6-3, if I remember correctly....

Any idea how the field is and any chance of the CCH/HC game being on?

To be truthful with you and with the forecast calling for more rain Thursday (Showers likely, mainly before noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 59. North wind between 6 and 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.) it's not looking good but I am sure Coach Krumps, Coach Eck and the team will do their best to get the field into shape, but if I were a betting man..... no way, can I see CovCath vs. HC playing on Thursday.... The field was very, very wet, especially around 1st bast today at 4:45pm....
