Invitation to All 9th Region Fans

The Bulldogs and the long awaited hardware will be leaving Lexington at 10am.

 

They will be taking the 12th Street exit and will have a police escort through the city and should arrive on campus by 11:30.

 

This Bulldog is sending an invite to any 9th Region fan to come out and help us welcome them home.

Was at Dixie when they went by on their way to school. A lot of excitement. Glad to finally see it again for NKY. It's been a long time. Awesome job Bulldogs!!! Congrats!!!

Is that a student only pep rally or is it open to everyone? I didn't graduate that long ago and I am still good with people up there so I can probably get in to see it either way it goes but I am curious for others who may want to attend.

I was at the house unpacking but they rolled right down the street in front of my house, and again, alot of excitement. Sorry Dawg81 I did my best to get there but I couldn't make it in time.

I believe it is an open invite for tomorrow. I am going to try and make it and I heard alot of other adults in the welcoming crowd trying to re-arrange work schedules. We all plan to come down with a little bit of "bulldog" flu.:sssh:

 

There was also an announcement that a big reception is going to be planned. The date and details are suppose to be released to the public.

 

Several news channels there. Talked with the guy from Ch 19. He says he plans to have a special segment tonight at 10:30.

A parade is in the works for this Saturday. All I know at this time is 2:00pm. If I find out the route and other details, I will pass that along ASAP(unless someone already knows, please share).

 

Thanks to the 100+ who attended the welcome home today. It was another emotional moment for everyone! And the Dogs were hammin' it up.....they deserve to be on a cloud right now and enjoying every minute of this wonderful accomplishment!

 

Evans Fieldhouse will be the new home for the State Champion Banner! Can't wait to see it hangin where it has belonged for 28 years!:dancingpa

Very nice pep rally today at school. The bleachers were packed and lots of news coverage.

 

Here are some beginning details of upcoming events.

 

A parade will leave Holmes campus this Saturday at 1:30. It will travel down Madison Ave and will stop at The Madison where a reception will be held.

 

I don't know if this is a "decorate your car" type of caravan parade or just the players. Once I find out I will pass it along.

The parade is scheduled for this Saturday. It will begin at Holmes at 1:30 and travel north on Madison Avenue.

 

From 2-4 there will be a community reception at The Madison, located at 7th and Madison. All staff, parents, students and community members are invited.
