The big kid for J-town (Reves, I think)-6'10"-presents some problems for a defense. He moves quite well for a kid that big and seems to have good basketball sense. He keeps his head in the game. He's got a bright future, I think.

The kid grabbed Jackson as he went around the screen. Not much to argue there. Plenty of calls could be argued through the night as the choice of officials was astonishing.

 

This was a fantastic high school basketball game. Bellarmine was pretty much full. Both schools brought a good number of students (with Ballard in the majority. Three individual standout performances---Jackson in the first quarter and the last 2 minutes, Cox with an unconscious 3rd quarter, and Reeves keeping J-town close as Cox went off.

 

In the end, as with so many games, it came down to Free Throws, Free Throws, Free Throws.

 

I agree with the free throws, but i didn't see it the way you did about the call in the lane. Jackson wass totally out of control and it was a bad call in my opinion. The main thing is my opinion didn't count! Murrow worked his magic again.
