She was hurting the entire game but in the second half this play forced her to the sideline in significant pain. She returned to grit it out but just not able to be herself.

 

Boone played great and most probably would have won anyway, you just hate to see a key player have to finish the Championship game this way.

 

Sandfoss went to the bench in tears after being fouled very hard by a Boone player. Must have hit the hand...

Congrats to the Lady Rebels! Nell always has her team ready when it comes tournament time.

I read in the paper today about the Sandfoss girl playing with a broken hand. That has to be one of the most gutsy things I've heard about in a while. It's one thing to play after you think you've done something, it's quite another to know very well that you are injured badly and still play... Especially being a ball handler....
