Congrats to NDA. Must have played a nice game.

NDA played great team ball, Holmes had a 17 to 4 run in the second which made things pretty interesting. NDA reasserted itself in the third to coast to a nice win.

 

 

Congrats to the Pandas. Is that only twelve girls in the cheering section? That is weak support from the students. The bottom picture of Dick Maile is a good one.

Congrats to the Pandas. Well deserving district title. Holmes never quit, cutting a big NDA lead to 4 points near the end of the first half. NDA pulled away in the second half.

Small in numbers but mighty they were. Holmes had a great crowd.

If you didn't know who won the game beforehand the first two pictures certainly prove the old adage that a picture is worth a thousand words .

The girls Ninth Region Tournament will be better then the boys tournament this year (competitively speaking), as there are more teams who have a real shot at winning the Ninth than on the boys side. Boone-Ryle, NDA-Holmes, NCC-Highlands and St. Henry-Ludlow. These five teams, have a real shot at going to Dibble, and the draw this year will be huge.
