Shelby Valley 103 Belfry 67

This may sound stupid, but the game wasn't this close... Elisha Justice led the way with 24.

Another good win for Shelby Valley.

The Valley has now won 20 in a row I believe. This is most certainly a Top 5 team and I see an Elliott-Valley downright war coming on Friday night March 20th in Rupp. Valley is very good, but they won't see the same Elliott they saw in Richmond if they meet again.

Congrads to Shelby Valley on an outstanding season by an outstanding team.

Valley has never won a game at the state tournament so we'd better concentrate on getting that 1st win (assuming we make it out of region). Would love to see the rematch though. It would be a war.

Regarding the 20 wins in a row, if Elisha hadn't gotten hurt, Valley would more than likely be 30-1 on the season. All 4 losses came at the time he was hurt.

I have realized that all along, not sure others have. Plus they only have one in state loss and I believe he was hurt against Knott County Central. I love my Lions, but I also really like this bunch at the Valley and especially Justice who I think is one of the best guards in the state. There are a lot of good guards, but he ranks right with the best of the best. Kid is Super!!!!

The teams from Elliott and SV are ones that coaches dream of. Both of these teams are so fun to watch and are so fundamentally sound.

Guys, when you get into tournament play, you better take them one at a time or otherwise you will be going home.

I would say that some teams from the 10th and 8th regions might play a factor into that2nd round matchup.
