I was there and Gallatin did the same thing they always do when there losing in the 3rd they put their head down and just drive to the basket and throw something up in hopes of a foul being called, which it usually is. They draw the contact every time but i guess thats what works for them.

I was not there. I didn't need to be to say that maybe the other team is at fault for the foul differential. There can be many reasons why one team shoots substantially more free throws than the other.

Actually, you kind of do need to be there or at least watch a review of the game to understand the foul problems.

I don't have a dog in this fight but how in the world could Gallatin outshoot any team from the free throw line. They (Gallatin) play the most aggressive, hacking defensive in this area and how they don't get outshot 4:1 at the free throw line is beyond me.

True. Maybe the other team needs to not be fouling so much. Perhaps they need to change defenses. There could be many reasons, only one of which is "home cooking," which to me would be the least of them anyway.

This would not be the only game of the year in which there is a discrepency. I believe that when North Oldham played Adair County, the free throws shot were something like 41-3 in AC's favor.

 

Often it is hard for one to emotionally separate themselves from a game in which their team loses.

All I said is that you do have to be there to know the foul problems. Everything else is just guesses of what they were like.

Yes, I do know better and no that is not good offensive basketball. When you leave the game in the hands of the referees, you are playing a game of Chance and I'm just saying that Gallatin wins that game of Chance quite often. :sssh:
