I expect Barrett Meyer and Vance Hall to go to town on AC's guards. Whoever guards CJ Penny is in for a tough matchup but I still take Franklin Co by 7.

Creature, I think Meyer will be guarding Penny.

I like FC in this one. Anderson is a solid team but FC's guards will be the difference. I look for Meyer to have a big game.

Over the last month this has become my new favorite word, and you got it right about Vance.

Two very good teams among the best in the state. I think this will go down to the wire with Franklin winning 67-66. CJ Penny will have a big game with 29 pts. and 14 rebounds.

Certainly does describe the way Vance plays and he always has played that way. I believe the key to the game will be if Franklin can keep Anderson from having a third scorer. They are not going to stop Penny or Russell, but if they can keep Nick Humphries or Landon Jenkins from having a good night they can win.

Hopefully guarding CJ won't take away from Barrett's shooting. I'd like to see Ryan Connor on Penny. Either way Meyer and Penny will have two huge games.:dancingpa

Another interesting thing about this matchup is that many of these kids played together on very successful AAU teams in their grade and middle school years, so these kids know each other fairly well.

With Humphries back for AC, I'm picking the Bearcats by 6.

 

Will this be Humphries first game back? He is a difference maker if he is able to play.

I believe FC will win by 10 due to their guard play and deep bench. I'd like to see Rivers play a little more for FC, he seems to have a good stroke and from the games that I have seen he is a very good hustle player.
