PurplePride92 Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 Final. What is Bryan Station's rank? Aren't they a ranked team? I know the score says it was an 11 point victory, but it was closer than that. If we make 75% of our free throws we win this game. It was a 2 point lead for Station with a little over 3 minutes left and we turned the ball over and missed a shot that would have tied the game. Three of their players fouled out so we had the opportunity to win this game from the free throw line. I hope we can play like this in round 1 versus Lincoln County. Great effort, just came up a little short. Hang in there Rebels, let's get Pulaski County on Senior Night this Thursday!!!!!!!!!!! Side note: Coach Adams was serving what I think is the 2nd game of his 2 game suspension for being kicked out of two games this season.
PurplePride92 Posted February 18, 2009 Author Posted February 18, 2009 I thought Bryan Station had beaten Holmes. Well, it looks like the Sweet Sixteen is wide open then. Either I am right about Boyle County being better than their record or I am right about the 12th region not being as down as people say. One way or another, I am right. If this Bryan Station team beat Holmes and Holmes beat Scott County, then there is no clear cut favorite for the Sweet Sixteen because we were capable of beating Bryan Station tonight.

That Holmes win was a long time ago. Bryan Station has struggled of late.
TheSecondComing Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 Bryan Station is capable of beating anyone, and losing to anyone because they are such a streaky shooting team.
Chosen_One Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 WOW! Closer than I would have thought. If Boyle plays to their level of talent, they can play. Lincoln better watch out in the first round of districts, especially since it is AT Boyle. Good win for BS though.
Eta Rho Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 Key to beating Bryan Station is forcing them to play a halfcourt game. If teams don't press them, Bryan Station struggles to score. With that said, nice win for the Defenders.
schs balla Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 Yeah I can say that Scott Co. has ran all over Bryan Station, and even the game that Station won against Holmes was early in year...So good luck in the 12th.
