Congrats to OC on the road win on Carroll County's homecoming night in front of a big, loud crowd. Dunlap played a complete game, Brandon Cook had a great start and finished in double figures, and freshman Kerry Smith was very impressive off the bench, passing the ball very well on the break and hitting both of his shots and a FT for 5 points.

 

The switch to a 2-3 zone - unusual to see from a Gary Forrest team - in the second half seemed to take away some of Oldham's edge. While they played the zone, they just seemed a bit slow... but the man-to-man defense was very effective.

 

Kudos to the Panthers for a strong second-half comback, led by Hendrick, who was a monster on the boards. Five consecutive free throws by Matt Allen in the final seven seconds of the first half turned a 30-11 deficit into a 30-16 deficit and the momentum seemed to carry over to the second half for the Panthers...
