Does anyone know how the tiebreaker is going to shake out in this very competitive district?

It is on the Morgan West / thread but it is Elliott #1 of course. East #2 West #3 Morgan #4. The bottom 3 all had same records beating each other. So it went by difference in their scores. East was a +7 or 8 West was +3 or 4 Morgan was a -10 or 11. Thats how they are place in this order.

That is not what the 62nd district Bi-Laws state. The differental is between 2 teams head to head.

East beat Morgan by 9 and Morgan beat East by 9, so you say it wouldn't have mattered if Morgan beat East by 10.

I have a feeling Morgan will come upon short end out of the deal. Even though East and West are rivals they will make sure that there is a Carter County team sent to the region, just my opinion.:madman:

It's issues like these which is why seeding is ultimately bad. Blind draws for all there draw backs are ultimately better.

Wow, it is easy to see why East Carter came out playing so hard against Elliott on Saturday. It will be interesting to see how this shakes out.

The bylaw states 2 teams tied nothing about point differential being used for three teams.

It could go to the next tiebreaker which is overall winning % excluding tournaments.

Meeting could be interesting.

Morgan 11-5 Montgomery and Bath left

East 9-5 Raceland left

West 9-4 Wolfe and Russell left

Some big games on tap for these three teams.

If that is the case, then those remaining games are huge. Is it games before a certain date? If not maybe someone might try to make up some games?

Why would you not take the games between the 3 tied teams instead of going to something that involves totally different teams. If the above mentioned system is not used it should be put in that is the fairest way.imo Of course the 64th seeds and don't have anything written for tiebreakers. Good thing Fairview beat Rose Hill on Fri. Because if RH would have won then lost this week to Ashland then they would have had a three way tie and would have had to do a blind draw for seeds 1-3 to see who played #4 Boyd.

West Carter only has Russell.

The date is before their meeting on Wednesday.

Morgan and East could end up tied in this scenario if Morgan splits and East wins.

I don't believe all the teams agree with the way the tie breaker is figured! Could get interesting to say the least.

KHSAA will have already ruled on how it will play out.
