To go along with "What does your school do when... ", what is your schools policy on game day if there is no school. Is the policy at your school "no school, no game"?

Fayette Co. has the no school = no play policy.

In Montgomery Co. it is a separate evaluation.

IMO - Montgomery Co has it right. There are many different circumstances at 4 or 5 in the afternoon than there were at 3am when the decision to have school or not was made.

Agreed. And a whole lot fewer people involved. Loading 2,000 kids on busses at 7 in the morning is much different than deciding if 20 kids can play basketball at 7 in the evening.

.....And you may be talking about several buses on snow covered rural roads in the morning vs. 1 or 2 buses on a cleared interstate in the evening.
