I really don't think your thought is a big suprise. Most people that follow area sports feel that this will be a very good and talented Tomcat team.

I just want to keep bragging on the new coaching pick by the Greenup Administration. I just think that his coaching style will benefit the kids and showcase their ability. In doing so, this will make them more of a threat and will keep them in more games. Greenup use to have a reputation of being the most physical team on the field and I think this will return. If you are the most physical team, you will win more than you lose. This is why I pick them to be one of the suprises for 2009.

 

I will have to agree with you on this one Doc the atmosphere at Greenup right now is amazing. And the coach has not even started yet. If things stay this positive then Greenup could be a big surprise this year.

Ya your right but who knows how far the Tomcats can go '09.

I think Boyd will improve on the district title team this year and should be the favorite again to win the district. They return several good sophomores and juniors that played quite a bit, especially down the stretch. I think Morgan will improve quite a bit and from what I've heard has a really strong 8th grade class coming in as freshmen next season so I look for them to be much stronger in the coming years.
