Good luck Ben! Panthers needed an infusion of new blood and they got it. Players need to work hard in weight room to get it done. Rebuilding process will take a time.

Anyone have an update on Spring Practice under the new coach?

Spring Practice is going good..they had 5 practices. Several new faces out..that hasn't played in the last two years....

 

Example: They had 5 soph. out during regular season...they had 15 soph. out first day of spring practice. Several out of the 16 will start and see playing time in the fall.

I hope we can pick up a couple more players before we start practice this summer.

This is an excellent start. I hope they stay motivated and stick with it. This will give Pikeville more depth in the future.

Any more updates from Spring Practice?

I look for a more disciplined well coached fundamental team than Pikeville has had for several years.
