Question about 35th District Tournament

Featured Replies

What days will the District be on. (Will it be on Tuesday Thursday)

Also what days will the 9th Region Tournament be on?

I thought it changed with the Girls Region and District.

Thanks

I know the districts are the week of Feb 23, but I don't know what days the boys will be playing. The regionals start March 4 I believe.

Wednesday Feb. 27th:

Holmes v #4 seed 6:00

#2 seed v #3 seed 8:00

Friday Feb. 29th:

Teams TBA 7:30

That's how it was set up last year...I'd assume it'd be the same this year unless the girls/boys days change every year due to Title IX.

HC usually only plays one game a night, but you could be right.

Last time HC hosted they played both games the same night...

Covcath played Holy Cross in game 1.

Holmes played Beechwood in game 2.

They clear the gym between each game.

Yeah, they will play two a night, but it will be boy/girl double header.

You're wrong Eta, check this out.

Maybe it was the Notre Dame girls who played before Holmes then. I remember having to wait in the hallway down where the kindergarten rooms are before the game so they could clear the gym last time HC hosted.

Why do they do a girl/boy double header at HC rather than just playing boys on one night and girls on the next night? They're one of the only schools who does this when they host districts.

Not sure, but I don't think they did that in '06, but I could be wrong.
