Game was a lot closer than the score indicates. The Raiders and Dragons played toe-to-toe for three quarters. Trimble raced out to an 11-3 lead to start the game before South woke up. Trimble led at the half, 35-33.

The game appeared to be heading to the fourth with South leading, 48-47, when Austin Bowling launched about a 60 foot shot that ripped the net at the buzzer, giving South a 51-47 lead after 3Q and a huge emotional lift. (It was his only points of the game)

As OC beat SO, SO beat Trimble, and Trimble beat OC...should those three finish in a three-way tie, the Litkenhous ratings will determine the order of finish among those three teams.

SO seems to live and die by the three. They were certainly on last night.

I did enjoy meeting Colonel Mike last night.

Ditto! Thanks so much for coming by and saying "hi"! The Raiders gave a good account of themselves last night. Bob Lauster has his team playing well. They pass the ball as well as any team I've seen; I thought they got a little caught up in the South uptempo pace in the fourth and that seemed to undo them...their passes weren't as crisp and accurate in the 4Q.

South does live and die by the three. Hard to beat them when they're hitting them like they were Saturday... and they have so many different players who can shoot it.
