Gallatin actually led 43-40 with under 4 to play, but Carroll scored the next 15 points to seal the deal.

Carroll got into some foul trouble in the second quarter and let a 12 point 1st half lead slip to one at the break. Gallatin pretty much controlled the 3rd period and led by one going into the 4th. They stretched the lead out to 5 early in the 4th before Carroll took control late to pull away. I believe Gallatin ran out of gas. They really missed Maddox.

No doubt a hard fought game for both teams. Without Maddox Gallatin was out-sized, with a Junior, 2 Sophomores, a Freshman, and an 8th grader. Once Carroll started getting the ball down low to their big man, it was too much for GC's young team to handle. Definately missed Maddox on this one....
