Recommended Posts

Final. Manual moves to 7-6, Butler drops to 5-9.

Manual leads by 1 at half as 4 starters missed the 1st two periods.

Spearheaded by Jenkins 18 second-half points, Manual surged to a 21-point lead until the final 15 point margin. Samsel added 12 points in the 2nd half along with 6 assists. Jenkins also added 6 assists as his foot is showing strong indications of getting back to form.

Next up for Manual, Louisville Male.

Missing or late for an 8am Saturday practice.

Manual should be back to top 5 shape as Jenkins continues to become healthy and the team develops the chemistry it would have if Jenkins weren't missed during the month of December.

Thanks. Figured it was probably a "team rule" type of thing.

More importantly, Manual is getting closer to being that preseason top 5 team coaches believed them to be.

Samsel and Jenkins are going to be a lethal combo and Nikolic is coming along a great pace. When you have one of the state's top two premiere player go down, chemistry will need to be re-developed. Jenkins showed flashes of how he played this summer and will provide that leadership to do some damage the rest of the season.

Don't you agree McPapa?

Manual wasn't missing Hood or Pittman.

Many opinions are that Pittman is #1 overall. I suppose it's all one's perspective.:thumb:

Jenkins was rated by the coaches, media, and gurus as the state's 2nd best player. After seeing him play last night as he improves with practices and health its easy to see why.
