Morgan looks good this year, but East is a bucket better!

As bad as I hate to say this. lol. East by 18.

East will win big. Morgan cannot handle the pressure defense that East plays.

Morgan handled the pressue and had several great looks at the basket. Morgan trailed only 39-36 with 1:37 to play I think and East Carter would hit their free throws down the stretch to win by 8 47-38. Mark Pemberton played an excellent game for the Raiders and Colt Barnhill is an outstanind player. Very fundament and knows how to operate in the post. Kyle Bair hit some clutch mid range jumpers and Tyler Jackson is a pure athlete.

 

Morgan played their typical strong defense and had several opportunities to get over the hump as they kept hanging around. Two very well coached teams had both teams prepared quite well.

 

Cougars are really going to surprise more people in this region. They are not the 10th ranked team in the 16th...they are athletic and play 7 guys that can get after it.

 

Congrats to East Carter and a tip of the hat to the effort of the Morgan County Cougars last evening.
