I agree--MC is 5-0 and is off to a great start, but also it is the 12th just being the 12th. I was raised and live in that region and still it doesn't impress me. Wayne is one of many top teams in the 12th along with McCreary Central, Lincoln County, and probably a bunch of others. Trying to predict who will win that region is a roll of the dice. Whoever wins it will probably be one and done.

Yes they are, a very well coached team. Believe they are flying under the radar for many.....I knew they would be a very competitive team. This is one of the teams I thought we could lose to....and we did. I feel they would have gotten more respect this year if they were playing in a different region.

I think everyone sort of forgot about Keshawn Simpson

last season as he was out the entire year with an injury he sustained during football season. If he was healthy last season with Morris they would have had the Dynamic Duo. If I recall correctly, I think as a freshman he was a part of the team that upset the thought to be unbeatable Scott Co squad in a region finals game.

 

He is an impact player, and truth be known they probably have the best coach in the 11th region.
