December 12, 200817 yr Yes, OTS recruited Pattterson to U.K., Patterson was basically a done deal, BCG came in and basically made a visit and told PP that the offer was still good. Tubby Smith was the one that got Patterson to U.K. and not to play the what if game but jmo Jai Lucas would have been a Wildcat as well had OTS stayed. Both U.K. and Tubby have moved on now so no more talk of that from me. I was just confirming/agreeing with what you stated. I am first and foremost a U.K. basketball fan. Always have been and always will be. I now have a #2 favorite team in Minnesota and am pulling for them in every game that they may play unless they should meet U.K. down the road sometime. As for your other statement, you are correct......9 wins the year before he got there, a 20 win season in his first year with basically the same team. That coupled with a 9-0 start this season after losing 3 or 4 (not sure) key starters from last years squad. He has got some good JC tranfers in this season and from the reports that I have heard already has some very good kids coming in for next season. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: They should have another strong class of kids coming in next year. Yeah I'll never forget Lucas Orbzut, Jared Carter, Michael Porter, Saul Smith, heck, this ain't even fun anymore. Don't forget about Rondo, Hayes, Bogans, Prince, heck this ain't even fun anymore.
