Re-read the post there d-dawg. I do think Ryan and Patrick are stand outs as far as thier tenacity and get in your face defense.

 

That's ok. I think they have a fine group of ball players, some being gifted on defense and some being very gifted on offense. I believe each and every boy on the team will do their best and wish the best for all. You will never see any of my quotes trying to put any certain boy down on the team as some do. I kinda feel sorry for those people. I don't believe in trying to hurt anyone's feelings.

I know who can play defense and know who can't play defense. That's not the type of put down I was talking about.

You need to watch Ryan Williams and Patrick Bailey! These two get after whomever they guard and play TOUGH Defense! Coaches are never satisfied with the defense they play and even if they are they will not admit it.

 

:thumb::thumb: Patrick and Ryan are for sure the in your face defenders any coach would be glad to have. I saw Patrick take a man that was about 7-9 inches taller than him and he shut him down. Ryans quickness is his game allowing him to get up on his man and stay with his man. They both are fabulous defenders that will be out there giving it there all every game.

I agree!

I've seen every game and I think Clark has a good offensive unit but not what I would call a tough defensive team. As coach Humphery said in his newspaper interview, " He was very disappointed in the teams defense."

 

I too agree that Ryan and Patrick are our best defensive players. As you stated over all as a team we do need to step up our defence. This will take time and I can see improvement each game. Come post season we should be fine.

 

Tonights game still scares me.
