Fugate sure seems like an animal. If Haddix can step it up and be the second threat, Breathitt has a shot against anyone. But, if not, I see Belfry limiting (not shutting out) Fugate enough to win the ballgame.

I think both Breathitt County fans and Belfry fans are looking ahead to this game, even if they won't admit it.

This was a great game to watch. I thought the Bears earned back some respect from their first meeting. They really played hard this game and although we lost, it was one we could live with because they never gave up. Of course they made mistakes, but the effort and enthusiasm was there this time around. I really really thought we had this game right up until the 4th quarter. Channing Fugate is just a phenominal player and he has total faith in his O-line. He doesn't hesitate when he runs, he just GOES and knows that the hole will be there.

This first year's Black Bear team has laid a strong foundation for us to build on. It's been thrilling to watch this team grow and witness our county come together to support them. I can't wait till next year!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO Black Bears!

A good season for the bears. We know now after playing at Jackson where we need to be. The games we lost where because the other teams where stronger. Our players need to hit the weight room. Coach Larkey has been around he knows what it takes to improve. We should as fans support any decisions he makes as we go forward as team. Coach tell us what you want or what you need and we will get it.

Good win for the Bobcats and a nice first season for Harlan County. I know the Engineers are happy to get another crack at Breathitt County. Should be a great game of hard hitting mountain football.
