I think UC is as good as OSU this year. Pat White and Noel Devine didn't combine for 100 yards at their place. White/Devine > Pryor/Wells.

I think UNC ends up winning the ACC and they are as good as OSU as well...

I guess we'll just have to disagree then. I'd rank Pryor/Wells as every bit as good as White/Devine for what it's worth.

But that is still not what he said. He wanted to see them play in the confrence. Quality teams week in week out. Playing a single bowl game against the top team in the confrence with a month to prepare is not the same as being in the confrence. Bottom line is that Bosie & Utah only have to bring their A game 1 or 2 times a year and then once they are in bowl games everything is on their side. If they win like Bosie did a few years ago it is an upset that shocks the world. If they get a taste of what Hawaii got last year then everyone acts like it is no big deal. None of the teams mentioned could win consistently in average confrences (ACC, Big East, Pac 10, or Big 10) or even compete for championships in the elite confrences (SEC & Big XII).

:thumb: I will give it to UC, but it might be a stretch to say NC is as good as OSU. I'd like to see that game

If the season ended today, this is most likely how the current system would match up the BCS games....

BCS Title Game:

Alabama vs. Texas Tech

Sugar Bowl

Maryland vs. Utah

Fiesta Bowl

USC vs. Florida

Orange Bowl

Cincinnati vs. Texas

Rose Bowl

Penn State vs. Oregon State

Based on the current rankings, if we had no automatic bids, the match ups would look like this....

1 vs. 2

Alabama vs. Texas Tech

3 vs. 4

Texas vs. Florida

5 vs. 6

Oklahoma vs. USC

7 vs. 8

Utah vs. Penn State

9 vs. 10

Boise State vs. Ohio State

I'll take the second set of games...

IMO, this is the National Championship game.

IMO, Texas Tech, Texas, and Oklahoma have played much tougher schedules than USC. National title game should be Fla/Bama winner vs Big 12 winner. I don't think USC has any kind of valid arguement right now for being in the title game.

Other than their play?
