Bardstown at 4-7 is no pushover. I believe that this will be one of the better games in the state next week.

I think this should be a competitive game. The Falcons will need to limit turnovers and penalties and keep playing solid defense, if they does those things I see them winning

Keep in mind that Bardstown played a very tough schedule and seems to be peaking at the right time of year. Last year they upset Danville in the District game and gave Fort Campbell all they could handle in the Regional game. So, I would say Monroe County is the favorite to win, but I believe it will go down to the wire.

Bardstown is battle tested....with new life...and just a bit more confidence right now. Not many people in the state, regardless of class, match up with the Tigers' skill positions.

I like Bardstown, and they have played solid football. But I think Monroe has enough depth to pull this out

Its a very simple formula. If the Tigers are pansies and are really just going through the motions in order to get to basketball season, then by all means tell me so I don't have to drive an hour and a half up and an hour and a half back.

 

If, however, (as I believe) there are 22 guys willing to play with the tenacity that J.P. Willett and Jack Whitfield have, then there is no reason at all with the caliber of athletes Bardstown has that they cannot get to a rematch with Danville and even Ft. Campbell.
