Mason Co girls should win this region easy.

As for Boys Russell and Ashland have been even all year.

I think that Russell will pull it out. Mason Co boys will likely finish 3rd and qualify for the state meet.

In 1A Region 3, Bardstown is favored to repeat for the boys' title. They're led by junior Adam Kahleifeh, who is a threat to win the region and state. He finished 5th in the state last year.

Bethlehem's Angela Musk is a live dark horse in the same region.

1A region 8--Walton Verona. I watched them race today, both boys and girls look good. Girls came in 2nd and Boys got 4th. Good Luck to both teams at state, I'd like to see them come home with 2 state titles!
