Does Jenkins have any real Offers?

I hear all this talk but never see anything for sure. Would love to know if another Ky kid was getting some serious ATTN.:thumb:

 

He's a legit 6-4. I know for a fact he has an offer from Wisconsin because we have fielded calls from a coaches. Wisconsin, Evansville, Dayton, Toledo, Butler, have all offered. I also know Wake Forest may have offered recently. I'm sure there is more that I'm missing, but that's the best I can do. I did hear Jenkins' interview on ESPN radio where he mentioned Kentucky is still recruiting him and that he was at their recent Midnight Madness.

If you think Jenkins doesn't have any shot to win Mr. Basketball, then you are mistaken. Hood and Jenkins both have a very good chance to win Mr. B, but anything can happen. I think that is why we play the games.

 

One thing is for sure, Jenkins must lead his team to the sweet sixteen to have any chance to win it. In the 7th it's much harder to pull this off.

If Jenkins takes Manual to the semifinals, and Madisonville isn't even in the tourney, then Jenkins will be wearing the #1 Jersey.

Is BCG hot on his tail? He is by far the best player in KY right now. If he were on a good AAU team this summer, the talk would be about him and only him. He was on to many teams and they never made very far in any tournaments, which has hurt in public views. But college coaches know, he is one of a kind as a basketball player that is hard to find these days. He has the ability to score, finish in the paint and is clutch in big time games.

 

Just go ahead and mail him the jersey! Wisconsin or Butler would be great places but he is way better than those places.

What school did Kimbro enroll in?

Good kid that works extremely hard and wants to keep improving. Has the opportunity to play and do well at the next level. That's all you can ask for. Look forward to seeing him again in December.

Can't confirm this, but I heard he has been to a couple of other prep schools. I think he left Mt. Zion. Maybe someone else can help with where he ended up.

 

I still think he ends up in Louisville next year. :sssh:
