Johnson Central 63 Montgomery Co. 18 FINAL

Does this solidify JC as the #1 seed for district 6?

Does this solidify JC as the #1 seed for district 6?

No. They still have to beat Ashland next week to win the district. If JC were to lose that would make both Ashland and JC 3-1 in the district and Ashland would win via the head to head tiebreaker. So it is crucial JC stay focused and come ready for a hungry and motivated Tomcat team.

Where do the play Ashland at next week? JC is still rolling.

At Ashland. It appears as if the defense is starting to caught up with the offense. It was another solid night for the JC offense and Ian Welch added another INT to his career giving him 30 I believe. What is the state record?

Be tough game for JC at Putnam next week had a big win tonight.

For a career, the record was set from 1979 - 81 by Steve Shaw of Iroquois...he snagged 34.

For a season, Harvey Miracle of Bell Co picked 16 in 1987.

Dang.....Welch is CLOSE!

Thanks for the info Painter. Yeah I knew he was getting close just wasnt sure how close. Maybe we can get Ashland to throw his way a couple times.

I haven't seen Johnson Central play, but judging from these scores and statistics, it appears they are head and shoulders above the rest of eastern Kentucky.

Congratulations to the Eagles on another Convincing win!

See you next week on Elm Street – Halloween night.

I hadnt realized it, but I guess Dillon is still undefeated at the QB position. I wouldnt get to hyped up in all that being over Bell stuff. JC just needs to take care of its business and the outside things will take care of themselves.:thumb:
