Allison - Transferred to NAIA - Got arrested twice - Played college football for D-2 South Dakota - Entered 2007 NFL Draft WR Desmond Allison, 6’ 4” 234 lbs. South Dakota Very inexperienced, but an interesting prospect for the 2007 NFL Draft. Allison played and started for the University of Kentucky basketball team prior to transferring to South Dakota, so you know he is a talented athlete. Can you say Antonio Gates, the great Charger receiver, well maybe that’s a stretch, but the similarities are intriguing. In his first year as a true starter he caught 35 balls for 547 yards and 9 TDs. Allison has had a troubled past, and is already 26 years old, but he has tons of talent and NFL Scouts are taking a hard look at this young man. Allison will probably get a chance in the NFL, he is just that good. You have got to watch this video:
