Trinity's starting QB completed 14 of 15 passes. The OL is still banged up. PRP appeared to be a physical team. I think good things are in store for them..BTW, how is the Newman kid from PRP doing at Notre Dame this year?

Fottball wise, he's going to redshirt this season, mainly for technique reasons. He's one of 6 true freshman that have not played this year.

 

He is loving school up there. I saw him several times when I took my daughter for a visit this past summer. We were sitting at the next table in the cafeteria (not by coincidence) with Brandon and his teammates. He was having a blast at lunch that day. He was always smiling every time I saw him that week. Other students have said he's soaking up the ND experience, which was a big reason he went there anyway, not just for football.

The Qb is soph Marcus Brown. He has been the backup to Sr Dave West. They've worked him in the lineup the last couple of weeks to give the offense a different look. Very athletic and strong arm. He has a lot of upside. He also plays baseball for the Panthers.
