He said the Freshman are being forced to play with the JV if they want to play.

Thats right Greybeard...Boyd freshman cancelled and I heard some parents talking about another cancelled game..I think East Carter? Other stats, Royalty quarterbacked 3 qtrs b4 Freshmen Chris Prichard game in. Royalty was 4/5 for about 80 yards and one td and one conversion.

Good question close talker. One could assume that it would be in the best interest of the program to keep freshmen playing as much as possible. I hope its not the case that varsity coaches don’t/can’t take the time to develop the underclassmen at the frosh level.

Yes, I hope it's not the case either. The younger kids at Boyd Co need to be playing, and having a freshmen team is a good way of developing them. If this is the case they could lose kids to other schools that offer freshmen f-ball. I have seen it happen.
