What's up with Beckett? Is he on long rest?

 

Hasn't pitched in a real game for almost 2 weeks I believe. He certainly does not have his best stuff tonight, but he has kept the Sox in the game.

Plus, he's been hurt for a few months.

Just thought the series was over. I didn't think Anaheim had a chance tonight.

Youk has one of the oddest starts when hitting. His right hand holds his bat, almost like he's trying to keep it from hitting his head. Then, when the pitch comes his hands come together into the hitting position.

 

I'd be in trouble if I didn't mention that he was 0-3 with 3 K's against my buddy...
