I know we're talking about creepy TV characters, but here's a pet peeve. When I'm driving, I absolutely hate radio ads that have a siren in the background. :fight:

I forgot all about the "never mess with Mother Nature" ads.

 

Another horrible commercial was the one where all the women were sitting around and the big water tower busted and the one woman pulled out a "feminine product" from her purse, caught all the water and then put it back away to show how absorbent it was. EEECH!

I always thought that Mr. Whipple was a little on the weird side.
